Facilities MapBeginning with two satellites (Satcom I and II) and three tracking, telemetry and control (TT&C) earth stations (Vernon Valley, New Jersey; South Mountain, California; and Woodbine, Maryland), GE Americom has grown into a global service provider. Today our in-orbit hardware includes 12 domestic satellites, and our TT&C facilities have expanded to four (Grand Junction, CO). These facilities control our in-orbit fleet while also providing uplink and downlink services for customers. We operate dedicated earth station facilities in support of our customers' specific needs. Similar facilities support our services in South America, Europe, and (soon to come) in Asia. Our major facilities are shown on the accompanying map. |
