Andreas Georghiou
Senior Vice President, Business Operations

A member of AMERICOM’s Management Committee, Andreas M. Georghiou is Senior Vice President for Business Operations, and is responsible for asset management, space systems & operations, terrestrial systems & operations, marketing communications, regulatory affairs, and spectrum management. His prior assignment has been as the sales leader for AMERICOM domestically and internationally. In that capacity, he was responsible for assessing competitive environments, developing sales resources and developing and implementing a global sales quality and differentiation strategy supporting AMERICOM’s expansion. Mr. Georghiou has also held positions in information technology, financial planning and business development. His progressive career with RCA, GE and SES AMERICOM began in 1976. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and has a Master’s degree from the Wharton School in Operations Research where he studied as a Fulbright Scholar. |

David Helfgott

A member of the Management Committee, David Helfgott is President & CEO for AMERICOM GOVERNMENT SERVICES, Inc., (AGS) a wholly owned subsidiary of SES AMERICOM, serving the US civilian and defense-related government broadband communications markets. Mr. Helfgott is responsible for the daily leadership, ongoing operations, and long-term vision for AGS. In June 2000, Mr. Helfgott joined GE Americom as Senior Vice President, Marketing. He led a team responsible for domestic and international marketing strategy, programs and processes, including market intelligence, satellite market development, new service development and product management, marketing communications, and business analysis. In November 2001, Mr. Helfgott led the integration of marketing programs between GE Americom and SES GLOBAL. Mr. Helfgott has held several marketing and sales leadership roles in the telecom industry with over 16 years experience, including:
- Vice President Marketing and Sales for Unibex, Inc., where he led the development of e-commerce business exchanges for industry trade groups
- Director, European Market Development for eFusion, Inc., where he was responsible for developing the IP Telephony applications market in Europe for network operators and Internet service providers
- Senior Manager for Bell Atlantic Internet Solutions (BAIS), where he led the development of BAIS’ e-commerce strategy and
- Senior Manager for MCI Telecommunications, where he developed VPN, custom data network, and outsourced-services solutions.
Mr. Helfgott has a B.A. from the University of Virginia and an M.B.A. from the Darden School.

Brent Bruun
Senior Vice President & General Manager, Enterprise Solutions

Brent Bruun is Senior Vice President and General Manager, Enterprise Solutions. In this capacity, he has responsibility for commercial data transponder sales and managed solution service offerings; commercial data product and business development; support engineering; and contract administration. In his current position, Mr. Bruun is able to leverage his talent, experience, diverse financial background and knowledge of the satellite industry to effectively execute SES AMERICOM’s business strategy.
Mr. Bruun previously held the position of Senior Vice President, Business Development for SES AMERICOM. Prior to this role, he served as Vice President, Financial Planning and Analysis. His past experience is comprised of numerous finance positions including several with GE Capital Corporate Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut, as well as KPMG, also in Stamford. He holds a B.S. Degree in Accounting from Alfred University, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Paula Fairley
Senior Vice President, Human Resources Services

A member of the Management Committee, Paula Fairley is the Senior Vice President, Human Resources Services, for SES AMERICOM, where she manages the Compensation, Staffing, Labor Relations, Equal Employment Opportunities, Learning and Development and Communications functions. Prior to joining AMERICOM, Ms. Fairley was the Managing Director, Human Resources, for GE Capital Markets Services in Stamford, Connecticut. Ms. Fairley’s experience includes senior executive Human Resources Management positions in several prestigious organizations. She has held such positions as: Vice President Human Resources, GE Mortgage Services; Vice President, Business Diversity, GE Mortgage Corporation; Director, Human Resources and Training, Travelers’ Insurance Company; and Director, Employee Relations, Ms. Fairley holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Temple University and a Master’s Degree from Antioch University.

Daniel Harel
Vice President, Space Systems and Operations

Dr. Harel is responsible for all of the space activities at SES Americom. He has been with Americom for more than two decades and has been involved in every technical aspect of the world’s highest quality satellite fleet. Dr. Harel is currently responsible for all elements of the company’s space assets enabling the delivery of service to customers … from satellite design and specification … continuous quality monitoring of manufacturers and launch service providers … to daily spacecraft operations. He and a worldwide team of spacecraft systems engineers, analysts, and controllers are credited with the fleet’s remarkable 7+ sigma availability, recognized as the best in the industry. A native of Israel, he served for 8 years in the Israeli Defense Forces. He earned a Ph.D. of Electrical Engineering degree from Syracuse University. In 1975 he joined Bell Laboratories where he worked on the development of advanced data communications networks. In 1980 he joined RCA American Communications, now SES AMERICOM, and advanced through the ranks to his current position.

Anders Johnson
Senior Vice President, Enterprise Risk Management

Having joined SES GLOBAL as a result of that company’s acquisition of GE Americom in November of 2001, Anders is Senior Vice President Global Risk Management for the Group. Prior to this assignment, Anders had been with GE Capital since 1985, holding a series of leadership positions in their Transportation Financing, Global Project and Structured Financing, Aviation Services, and since 1998, Americom business units. Prior to joining GE, Anders was a Vice President with Manufacturers Hanover Leasing Corporation. Anders holds a B.S. from the New York Institute of Technology. |

Robert Kisilywicz
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

A member of the Management Committee, Rob Kisilywicz is the Chief Financial Officer for AMERICOM. He joined the senior leadership team October of 2000 as Director, Financial Operations and Controller and was promoted to his current position in 2001. Mr. Kisilywicz' financial talent and expertise guided AMERICOM through the SES transaction. Before joining AMERICOM, he was employed by KPMG for seven years. Rob has a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Rhode Island. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). |

Bryan McGuirk
Senior Vice President, North American Media Services

Bryan A. McGuirk is Senior Vice President of North American Media Services. In this role McGuirk is responsible for building the company’s core entertainment and enterprise businesses throughout the U.S. Mr. McGuirk has extensive experience with business and sales issues associated with developing media-based businesses. As the President, Programming and Advertising of California-based OpenTV, he was at the forefront of many interactive programming developments for both advertisers and programmers. Added to that are executive and management responsibilities at TViFusion, a digital cable network development and operations company; NBC Television Network, in both affiliate relations and NBC Asia; and Turner International, launching CNN, TNT and Cartoon Network in Asian markets. Mr. McGuirk received his B.A. in Managerial Economics from Union College in Schenectady, and his M.B.A. from Emory University in Atlanta. He is active in many industry associations including serving as a board member of the Interactive Television Alliance.

Michael Noon
Vice President, Terrestrial Systems & Operations

Michael Noon is Vice President, Terrestrial Systems & Operations for AMERICOM and is responsible for design, implementation, and operation of all ground equipment utilized in the AMERICOM global network of facilities. Mike is also responsible for the IT infastructure utilized throughout the organization. Mr. Noon directs a staff of approximately 85 technical people who design, operate and are accountable for dozens of earth stations and transmission centers utilizing and supporting the SES AMERICOM satellite fleet. Mike has been with the AMERICOM organization since 1981, and has held increasingly responsible positions. A native of New Jersey, Mike earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University and an M.S.E.E. from Drexel University. |
