Using the Look Angle Tool

Step 1: Satellite Location Column

Select an Americom satellite or manually enter any satellite longitude (sub-satellite point).

Step 2: Ground Location Column

Enter Lat/Long by one of three methods:

1) Enter 5 digit zip code and press the "?" button

2) Select City from pull down list

3) Manually enter Lat/Long (enter South latitude and East longitude as negative numbers)

Step 3: Press the CALCULATE button. Azimuth and Elevation are calculated and displayed.
