Scheduled to replace Spacenet 4 in late 2005, this highly-advanced hybrid C/Ku-band satellite will serve local, transcontinental and transoceanic customers throughout the Pacific Region, including North America, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia and the islands of the South Pacific. 

High-powered and state-of-the-art, AMC-23 will offer superior coverage and  unprecedented levels of performance. This satellite was formerly referred to as WORLDSAT-3.
