SkyCache Expands Service on GE-1E

GE Americom, a GE Capital business, announced today that SkyCache contracted for a full transponder on GE-1E, thus expanding its relationship with Americom which began in Europe last year with an SCPC service on GE-1E and in the US earlier this year with service on GE-3.
SkyCache will use the GE-1E capacity to support ISPs and large organizations that require high-speed datacasting systems and the movement of Web content, Usenet News, digital audio and video data streams and the synchronization of distributed data systems.
