TuTv Selects SES AMERICOM for National Cable Distribution on AMC-1

Premier Satellite Distributor of Hispanic Programming Reaches 90% of All U.S. Cable Subs

Princeton, NJ -- February 24, 2004 -- SES AMERICOM, an SES GLOBAL Company (Luxembourg and Frankfurt Stock Exchange: SESG), announced today that U.S. cable and satellite subscribers who habla español can now enjoy movies, music, and lifestyle and entertainment news from TuTv, a joint venture of Univision and Televisa. TuTv’s five television networks, De Película, De Película Clásico, Telehit, Ritmoson Latino, and Bandamax, will be distributed over SES AMERICOM’s AMC-1 satellite at 103 degrees west.

"More and more programmers, like TuTv, are looking to SES AMERICOM for the reliable distribution of a broad range of news and entertainment to U.S. and North American audiences that speak virtually every language in the world," said Carl Capista, vice president of media and entertainment services for SES AMERICOM. "Our leading Cable2 neighborhood is enabling TuTv, with its popular Hispanic programming line-up, to reach the TV screens inside ninety-percent of all U.S. cable households. SES AMERICOM is the premier satellite distributor of Hispanic programming in the U.S."

"TuTv is dedicated to providing the contemporary and classic movies, the genres of music videos and concerts, and the latest news on the stars that matter most to the Latin community throughout the United States," Mark Feldman, president and CEO of TuTv. "To reach the biggest Hispanic audiences across the country, we have chosen a leading cable neighborhood and the reliable satellite distribution services from SES AMERICOM."

SES AMERICOM's Cable2® neighborhood, based on the C-band payloads of AMC-1 and AMC-4, now reaches more than 61 million cable households with two dozen national and regional programming services. The neighborhood’s impressive penetration is largely the result of an ambitious program to distribute antennas to cable headends. The close proximity of the two satellites, AMC-1 at 103 degrees west longitude, and AMC-4 at 101 degrees west longitude, enables dual reception of both spacecraft by a single C-band antenna.
