The Marketing Communications Manager plans and executes tactical external communications, with a special focus on direct marketing, sales tools, collateral and promotional materials. The selected media and channels take into consideration strategic market segmentation preferences set out by sales goals and objectives.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
|
3+ years experience with Marketing Communications, Advertising, Sales or Communications; Telecommunications industry experience a plus |
|
Demonstrable knowledge of external communications strategies & techniques |
|
Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience with the printing process, electronic publishing, webcasting, video production & editing and graphic design concepts |
|
Demonstrated competency in business writing |
|
Familiarity with HTML and text-only e-mail marketing |
|
Strong computer skills, especially the Microsoft Office Software Suite |
|
Strong team player; Good negotiating skills |
|

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
|
Create and produce effective sales tools and direct marketing programs, including brochures and e-mail blasts, as well as collateral & promotional materials such as power point presentations, folders, satellite and or service specification sheets, CD?s, videos, gifts and giveaways |
|
Interpret sales objectives into actionable and productive sales/collateral materials; continuously work with sales leaders to determine priorities, timelines and targets for each project |
|
Partner with vendors, such as outside creative agencies, designers and production resources |
|
Develop content from draft to finished text for brochures, scripts, letters, etc. |
|
Create, edit and/or finish a variety of electronic publishing tools using specialized software such as Quark XPress, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, et al. |
|
Organize targeted promotional efforts in support of lead generation, lead qualification, trade show traffic generation, etc. |
|
Identify appropriate data bases, recommend and execute direct marketing tactics (electronic vs. mail, phone vs. electronic) or combination as needed |
|
Develop and deliver reports on the effectiveness of individual direct marketing initiatives and long-term campaigns |
