The Director, Operational Excellence, works with the Senior Leadership team to identify areas of process improvement, gather resources, and manage the progress of projects that contribute to the success of short-range and long-range business objectives. This person also facilitates and promotes operational excellence methodologies as well as develops and implements various employee programs, based on global organizational needs.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

5+ years experience in Quality Management, including experience in consulting or leading projects, with demonstrated cost-effective or revenue generating results
Bachelors degree required, preferably in Business or Liberal Arts
Strong analytic and problem solving skills
Proven understanding of statistics and quantitative methods for process improvement
Excellent oral and written presentation skills
Successful track record of leading and driving change
Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software, such as Minitab, Visio, etc.
Masters Degree, Black Belt, or Master Black Belt certification a plus

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Drive culture that instills focus on continuous process improvement and customer satisfaction through the use of Six Sigma and other problem solving methodologies
Promote operational excellence by partnering with all levels of management to achieve process quality and develop strategy. Help define and coach Americom cross-departmental project leaders (BBs and GBs).
Develop, maintain and deliver operational excellence training to AMERICOM employees. Continuously refine training strategies and operational excellence tools to support the organization?s needs
Coach and develop the operational excellence team/coordination committee to ensure the highest level of organizational support; manage performance as needed; establish and manage multiple priorities (projects) based on limited resources; maintain department budget
Plan and direct Americom Operation Reviews in conjunction with the Office of the CFO, by identifying appropriate company-wide performance measures, and ensuring functional managers and systems to properly track and report these measures
