EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
|
3+ years experience in maintenance of satellite telecommunications equipment |
|
Associates degree required |
|
Basic knowledge of IP, IT, as well as tools and test equipment used in RF maintenance |
|
Demonstrated ability to effectively and professionally interface with customers |
|
Proficiency in mathematics and analysis |
|
Ability to work flexible shifts; Site requires 24-7 coverage |
|
Demonstrated ability to effectively work as part of a team |
|
|
|
|
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
|
Troubleshoot and maintain on-site equipment |
|
Position teleport antennas to support customers’ services |
|
Install new equipment during site modifications |
|
Troubleshoot and maintain RF transmitters and terrestrial connections |
|
Use diagnostic test equipment to analyze, interpret, and troubleshoot services |
|
Ability to work outdoors at activities such as maintaining antenna structures |
|
Perform maintenance and other specialized support for video services and operations |
|
Electronically document and distribute incident reports and activity logs |
