OVERVIEW:
The Product Manager will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams that will develop and manage product offerings from idea conception through successful product execution. This person will also support Sales in presenting the products to key customers.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

5+ years related marketing/product management experience |
|
7+ years telecommunications and/or satellite industry experience required, including expertise in the related technologies, business models and market forces |
|
Bachelors Degree in Engineering required; MBA preferred |
|
Effective, enthusiastic, proactive & results-oriented team player with a demonstrated ability to partner with members of all levels of the organization |
|
Demonstrated analytical ability (e.g. to draw conclusions from multivariate data) |
|
Proficient in Microsoft Office Program Suite systems, and the Internet |
|
Excellent written and oral communication |
|
Six Sigma training or certification a plus |

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
|
Lead product development business initiatives for new and existing products, customers, and business partners |
|
Develop a business case for and manage product life-cycle for multiple products |
|
Develop and implement marketing plans for product positioning, launching, promotion, advertising, pricing, distribution, training and forecasting |
|
Specify market requirements through primary and secondary market research, competitive analysis and voice of the customer |
|
Develop and implement product support/customer service approaches |
|
|
