OVERVIEW:
The Product Development Manager will be responsible for strategic product development, market and technical research to support future product offerings. Developing creative new ideas will be critical for success.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
|
5+ years related marketing/product management experience |
|
7+ years telecommunications and/or satellite industry experience required, including expertise in the related technologies, business models and market forces |
|
Bachelors Degree in Engineering required; MBA preferred |
|
Effective, enthusiastic, proactive & results-oriented team player with a demonstrated ability to partner with members of all levels of the organization |
|
Demonstrated analytical ability (e.g. to draw conclusions from multivariate data) |
|
Proficient in Microsoft Office Program Suite systems, and the Internet |
|
Excellent written and oral communication |
|
Six Sigma training or certification a plus |
|

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
|
Development and execution of a strategy for potential creative, new product offerings |
|
Develop & maintain a product development roadmap that identifies all AMERICOM Enterprise Services product offerings |
|
Lead new product development business initiatives |
|
Act as the subject matter expert on the competitive environment in the satellite/telecommunications industry, including attending key industry events and forums |
|
