EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

A total of 10 years experience in telecommunications, in such positions as Product Management, Product Marketing, and Business Development. At least 4 out of the 10 years should be in a Product Management position, and in commercial satellite communications. |
|
Experience managing a complete life-cycle product launch through to P&L metrics |
|
Direct experience and working knowledge of commercial satellite communications |
|
Solid understanding of US Government marketplace and ability to obtain a US Security Clearance (US SECRET) |
|
Strong cross-functional team leadership skills |
|
BA\BS or equivalent |
|

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
|
Ability to work with senior management and other internal teams to identify and develop growth opportunities for AGS business to include new products and business segments with emphasis on mobile broadband. |
|
Able to provide a clear analysis of technical options, key partnership opportunities and competitive strategies in all aspects of AGS product and business development |
|
Ability to learn new products and technologies in order to lead AGS in the product and business development, product marketing and lifecycle planning. |
|
Posses a solid understanding of the satellite business environment as it relates to expected ROI, cost drivers, required infrastructure, customer applications, and overall competitive dynamics. |
|
Interface with engineering, operations and other matrix support organizations in support of new AGS products/services deliverables. |
|
