EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

10+ years experience in the Satellite or Telecommunications Industry, preferably with a Sales or Marketing background and P&L responsibility. |
|
Bachelors’ degree in Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Telecommunications or Information |
|
Technology; M.B.A required. |
|
Direct hands-on experience with the commercial design and implementation of satellite system solutions in the US market. |
|
Negotiating and closing high value services agreements with Fortune 1000 type customers. |
|
Demonstrated personal leadership skills, such as relationship management, creativity, taking initiative, and results orientation |
|
Strong presentation skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in clear, simplified terms. |
|
Decisive project management skills, especially relating to commercial analyses, trade-offs and contractual terms. |
|

|
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
|
Work cross-functionally to develop business strategies for domestic satellite services initiatives with key customers/partners. |
|
Develop new customers and strengthen partnerships in key satellite/telecommunications industry segments. |
|
Maintain ultimate responsibility for the results of initiatives; ensuring that they are properly aligned to achieve organizational results (i.e. revenue targets). |
|
Continuously survey the domestic satellite services market to identify opportunities and threats to the market and its customers’ businesses. This will include acquiring, commissioning and interpreting results of market research. |
|
Maintain financial forecasts and actuals for revenue and budgets. |
|
