EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

10+ years experience in the Satellite or Telecommunications Industry, preferably with a Sales or Marketing background and P&L responsibility.
Bachelors’ degree in Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Telecommunications or Information
Technology; M.B.A required.
Direct hands-on experience with the commercial design and implementation of satellite system solutions in the US market.
Negotiating and closing high value services agreements with Fortune 1000 type customers.
Demonstrated personal leadership skills, such as relationship management, creativity, taking initiative, and results orientation
Strong presentation skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in clear, simplified terms.
Decisive project management skills, especially relating to commercial analyses, trade-offs and contractual terms.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Work cross-functionally to develop business strategies for domestic satellite services initiatives with key customers/partners.
Develop new customers and strengthen partnerships in key satellite/telecommunications industry segments.
Maintain ultimate responsibility for the results of initiatives; ensuring that they are properly aligned to achieve organizational results (i.e. revenue targets).
Continuously survey the domestic satellite services market to identify opportunities and threats to the market and its customers’ businesses. This will include acquiring, commissioning and interpreting results of market research.
Maintain financial forecasts and actuals for revenue and budgets.
