Walter Braun has been involved in the technical aspects of satellite communications for the past 28 years having joined Americom immediately after leaving the U.S. Air Force, where as a Captain he worked on tactical communications systems. He is presently responsible for the engineering and operations of Americom's global satellite fleet and terrestrial systems, as well as the procurement and accounts payable functions.
He possesses a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree and a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering, awarded in 1967 and 1968 respectively, from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Master of Business Administration awarded in 1980 from Rutgers University. |
